Package: abcde
Version: 2.3.99.5-1
Severity: normal
I tried to encode "stellastar* - stellastar*" today. Files got placed into
"stellastar* - stellastar*/01.mp3", "stellastar* - stellastar*
stellastar*/02.mp3" and so forth, until the filenames got too long.
Relevant variables:
OUTPUTFORMAT='${ARTISTFILE} - ${ALBUMFILE}/${TRACKNUM}. ${TRACKFILE}'
mungefilename ()
{
echo "$@" | sed s,:,\ -,g | tr / _ | tr -d \[:cntrl:\]
}
(the only change in mungefilename is to not munge spaces and question marks;
it already ignored the *).
