pandoc does not call tlmgr, that I am quite sure. What I guess is that it is either the nvim-r plugin that does this. But checking out the nvim-r repo from https://github.com/jalvesaq/Nvim-R I don't see tlmgr mentioned. So maybe it is indirectly called via some other R function .. hard to say. In any case, *this*should*not*be*done*. It would be nice to find out who actually called tlmgr. If you could manage to find this it would help a lot.
