please use debhelper from jessie-backports as I don't want to switch back the current versions of compat and debhelper to a older version than 10.2. This was the intention by using 10.2.2~ as while working on 4.1.2 for Jessie debhelper was available with this version. $ rmadison debhelper debhelper | 9.20120909 | oldoldstable | source, all debhelper | 9.20150101 | oldstable-kfreebsd | source, all debhelper | 9.20150101+deb8u2 | oldstable | source, all debhelper | 10.2.5~bpo8+1 | jessie-backports | source, all <---- debhelper | 10.2.5 | stable | source, all debhelper | 10.8~bpo9+1 | stretch-backports | source, all debhelper | 10.8 | testing | source, all debhelper | 10.8 | unstable | source, all Currently I've no plans to prepare a Jessie backported version of libcoap, at least if not more people requesting this. Regards Carsten
