Package: lxc Version: 1:1.0.7-10 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
On my amd64 system, when creating a debian container for i386, the template script creates a file under /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/lxc-multiarch with an option that dpkg doesn't understand anymore, rendering dpkg useless from inside the newly created container. Here the error message from dpkg: dpkg: error: configuration error: /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/lxc-multiarch:1: unknown option 'foreign-architecture' Regards, Ben. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lxc depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.24 ii libapparmor1 2.10-2+b1 ii libc6 2.19-22 ii libcap2 1:2.24-12 ii liblxc1 1:1.0.7-10 ii libseccomp2 2.2.3-2 ii libselinux1 2.3-2+b1 ii python3 3.4.3-7 Versions of packages lxc recommends: ii debootstrap 1.0.73 ii openssl 1.0.2d-1 ii rsync 3.1.1-3 Versions of packages lxc suggests: pn lua5.2 <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/lxc/default.conf changed [not included] -- no debconf information
