We had *plenty* of bug reports like this in the past (i.e. crashes caused by mixture of packages from dmo and Debian), and I am sure this was even before we switched from ffmpeg to libav. Anyway, we will see whether this will happen again once both package sets share the same namespace again. - Fabian
