His patches were posted on the upstream dev list, but got no response so far: http://lists.libsdl.org/pipermail/sdl-libsdl.org/2015-June/098221.html I guess upstream considers SDL*-1.2 dead and does not accept any patches anymore. :( But maybe our SDL packagers at Debian could use some of them.
