In addition to my previous message: I merged this patch with a few adjustments and everything seems OK. This has been pushed to gitorious.org, so if you can test that version directly and confirm that Valgrind doesn't complain, it'd be great ;)
The changes in comment.cpp were specially different, but it should be OK. The specific leaks I found were 2 labels without a parent in Comment which were not always added to a layout, and 1 label in the Composer, which is only added to a layout when used in the Publisher at the top, but not on the comment boxes of each post.
