It's unclear what fix needs to be done on the systemd side or how exactly systemd breaks kexec-tools. Could you elaborate? I've also CCed the kexec-tools maintainer. I'd like to have his input on what we need to do within systemd. I notice systemd also has a "systemctl kexec" command. Have you tried that? If that doesn't work, we probably need to fix that integration as well. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
