The problem still occurs in sid. The "C = M + 1" line occurs at line 6 of my file. Here's a more complex example than the one-line one: This is the 1st line. This is the 2nd line. This is the 3rd line. This is the 4th line. This is the 5th line. C = M + 1 This is the end.
