Paul, I think it's not the server mode. Maybe due to me running
everything as root.
jcdeb:~# service speech-dispatcher start
speech-dispatcher disabled; edit /etc/default/speech-dispatcher
jcdeb:~# grep -E "(yes)|(no)" /etc/init.d/speech-dispatcher | head -1
RUN=no
When I log in as a user, the logs appears at /run/user/1000/speech-d...
No matter whether I create ~/.speech-dispatcher directory or not.
If you think something needs attention, please tell me what new bug
report you would like to have. I don't think this one should be extended.
