Package: bsdmainutils
Version: 9.0.5
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/column
For output that contains tab characters, "column" gets the output wrong.
Example:
# seq 1 100 | xargs -l /usr/bin/printf ".\t%d\n" | column
I guess it should space-pad, or perhaps simply translate each tab to a space.
