Both POP3 and IMAP.

No, maybe thousands just think it's not available at all, just like
me. It's placed there quite illogically.

Neither does offline mode have anything to do with files. Yet
interrupting the network operations has something to do with being
offline, which is why I propose to move or duplicate it there.

Well, it's you who are the developer, and I'm reporting a problem.
While I can dig into the code I'd prefer to not to.
