Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: wishlist After sending a gazillion of messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] yesterday, I had the idea that things would be much easier if the web page generated by bugreport.cgi had a form at its bottom that would allow easy operation on bugs. I'd like to see the following options:
* set tags (either with checkboxes or a text field) * set usertags for user (two text fields) * modify severity (drop-down list) * retitle (text field) * set owner (text field) * set blocker (text field) * merge (text field) * reassign (text field) * close (text field for version number) * comment (text field to be put in the message body after "thanks") That form would then fire off a mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] doing the requested changes. This scheme can even be unauthenticated since it would not be any worse than e-mail messages sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Optionally, Accounts could be used to prevent abuse.
