ah, good idea. looking at the packaging, i'm tempted to set the
debian/source/format to "3.0 (quilt)" as well, since it's already in
basic shape for that. any objections to that change? that might be a
good step toward making a repeatable build, actually. I can get it much
closer, to a clean build i think. (and debhelper 9 is in
squeeze-backports already, so that shouldn't be too onerous of a build-dep.
maybe i can push a set of patches to the experimental branch for you to
review, and if you're OK with them, i'll tag and upload?
