The problem is that enigmail requires the build environment of the
corresponding icedove/thunderbird version to make a buildable
"upstream" tarball that's suitable for Debian. The enigmail tarball
alone is not enough to build enigmail. That's why I started to include
the icedove version in the "upstream" version.

I've already tried to build with and against icedove 17, but got stuck
because a build failure occurred that I had no time to analyze yet.
