I just echoed the feelings in this part of the world, sorry if it turned out to be rude, I didn't mean it to be personal. Even the same thing happened with Fedora. It feels very bad when existing options are removed thinking everyone has got a net connection. In case of Fedora they moved to yum without it having support for cdrom repositories (I don't know even now if it support that).
