Package: installation-reports Severity: normal Machine is an HP C200 workstation with 128M ram, internal SCSI disk.
Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot worked: [O] Configure network HW: [E] Config network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Create file systems: [E] Mount partitions: [ ] Install base system: [ ] Install boot loader: [ ] Reboot: [ ] Comments/Problems: Using the mini.iso image retrieved from http://people.debian.org/~jbailey/d-i/hppa/daily/2.6/ today, the system failed to autodetect my NIC (tulip). This works reliably with the 2.4 image. The system also locks up hard (LEDs on solid, can't switch VC, etc) right after it partitions the disks (or perhaps just as the filesystems are being written, it's difficult to tell). Again, this works reliably with the 2.4-based install. If the 'lspci' output is needed, please let me know as I'll have to reinstall completely with the 2.4 disk to be able to get that. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
