I experienced a little misunderstanding in the noted file (at the
bottom).

»Otherwise, you will probably be able to get away with simply adding the
<userinput>allow bootp</userinput> directive to the configuration
block for the subnet containing the client ... «

It isn't mentioned what file to edit here (/etc/dhcpd.conf).


If someone finds time to correct this...
