Package: debian-installer Severity: important Justification: System would not boot if initrd is not passed to the kernel.
The debian-installer provides the option to ``continue without a bootloader''. It might be an option for experts only but still it displays a note which should help configuring the bootloader. However this note is incomplete and thus the system won't boot because the kernel doesn't find its root filesystem. It mentions the kernel to boot (/vmlinuz) and the root (root=/dev/hdXX) boot option, but not the one required to load the initrd (initrd=/initrd.img) which is required by the shipped kernel to find the root partition. Keep up the good work -- the installations I did with the new debian-installer went mostly very well.
