Comments/Problems:
<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
and ideas you had during the initial install.>
I want a choice for a partion for de root device whithouht to have make
free space. I want to install in /dev/hda8 and leave /dev/hda9-12 as
they are. Some of them are bootable from LILO and this new installer
changes /dev/hda9-12 to /dev/hda8-11 if I make /dev/hda8 free space. The
new partition then will get the name /dev/hda12. This is NOT what I want. The old installers from Debian Slink and Potato do not have this problem.
And I cannot find in the menu a choice to make a boot-floppy. I want that floppy becourse I want to make my own lilo.conf to start various operating systems. I like to find the lilo.conf of the new o.s. in /etc as it would be if lilo has run, but whithouth running lilo from the installer.
greetings, Martin Rijgersberg.
