This is, unfortunately, not a satisfactory solution as it makes the grub config file machine-specific. An alternative is to set the debconf priority to critical, but this isn't a good idea as typo's in preseed config files are silently ignored. A better solution (IMO) would be to have a netcfg/auto_accept_dhcp boolean true ... but this would require coding. Paul.
