Comments/Problems:
I liked the use of the installer which allowed using the CD to boot which in turn grabbed the OS from the internet, very smooth operation.
I had to make changes to X11config. No problems for me as I have done it many times.
After playing with RH, Fed, Mdk, Suse, I tried Debian and found it worked extremely well. So much so, that I am staying with it although Mdk10 thus far has been best, at least with 2.4 kernel, on this Thinkpad-T20.
Sleep worked well, sorry you do not have SWSUSPEND, but that no longer works at all with any the other distributions right now.
"MC" under root does not allow me to open a display, such as gedit.
"MC" under user: "enter" does not always work, sometimes I have to do "enter & up/down arrow", and sometimes MC locks up..
Initially icewm presented lots of pgms that were installed, but when I went to my old menu these were lost, and even when I tried to go back to original menu - they were lost there too.
Gnome has some problems, which may be due to my deleting things. No problem for me as I don't use them anyway.
I deleted open-office, I just use gnumeric. Next time I install I will try to pick and choose what to install and see how/if it works.

P.S. Thanks for a fine package. However I find a few things awkward since I have been used to the RH and MDK environments, e.g. I had to change my /etc/sysconfig/iptables to a bash executable.
