Dennis updated this bug report on May 28th, 2004 01:18:44 mentioning that they are fixed in SVN/CVS but did not yet get into d-i. And this seems still to be the case. Here are more details: In the meantime the languages all start with a capital letter at the beginning (selection of the keyboard language at the beginning of the installation) The word "Empfange" still wasn't replaced by "Lade" in the d-i (loading of debian installer components). The translation error in the hostname configuration "der Ihr Rechner..." is also still not fixed in the d-i. During the installation of the debian base-system the word "Empfange" isn't replaced with "Lade". Apt-configuration still shows one english sentence and then goes on in german. All the translation errors for the Exim4 configuration are still not solved in d-i: examples: "weitergelietet", "geseichertm"...
