An instruction on the instruction to choose the partition to have a file system put on it would have help me get through the install faster. Other than that, however, the install worked very well. I only had to hit next and it installed. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 245027-close) by bugs.debian.org; 15 May 2004 09:53:27 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 15 02:53:27 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BOvrD-0008P5-00; Sat, 15 May 2004 02:53:27 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BOvl3-0008IS-00; Sat, 15 May 2004 05:47:05 -0400 From: Anton Zinoviev <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.49 $ Subject: Bug#245027: fixed in partman 38 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 15 May 2004 05:47:05 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 4 Source: partman Source-Version: 38 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of partman, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: partman_38.dsc to pool/main/p/partman/partman_38.dsc partman_38.tar.gz to pool/main/p/partman/partman_38.tar.gz partman_38_i386.udeb to pool/main/p/partman/partman_38_i386.udeb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. It is possible that this fixes #239300 - init.d/unsupported: exit 10 when the user presses <back> (instead of continuing the partitioner). Thanks to Martin Michlmayr, closes: #243374 - templates (partman/choose_partition): specify precisely that selecting a partition allows to assign a file system, mount point, etc. Thanks to Eric Zupunski, closes: #245027 - choose_partition/partition_tree/do_option: do not rely on the existence of partman/filesystem_long/"$filesystem" template. Thanks to Havard Korsvoll, closes: #248104 - definitions.sh (humandev): include the usual linux device names in the text representations of the devices. Thanks to Ricardo Corral, closes: #244821 - move the "Finish partitioning" item again at the bottom. Thanks to Martin Michlmayr, closes: #245524. - New script init.d/69no_media: warn the user when there is no partitionable media. Thanks to Matt Weatherford, Martin Michlmayr and Brad Langhorst, closes: #240937, #246723, #247027. - parted_server.c (named_partition_is_virtual): write in the log file whether the partition was virtual or not. Do not trace in the log file all comparisons with existing partitions. - parted_server.c: do not invoke remember_geometries_named() in set_disk_named, invoke it in unchange_named() instead - parted_server.c: new command DISK_UNCHANGED. - partman: in the confirmation dialog do not show as formatable partitions that have been already formatted.
