I note that I have just completed dhcp3-client-udeb support for the Debian installer, and it works. It has not been uploaded yet because it needs further testing (a significant part of netcfg was rewritten at the same time.) (I also note that the binary is GIGANTIC compared to dhcp-client-udeb's!
