The only problem you report is about the boot loader. This problem has been reported differently under #229212 #230502 and #229371. All these belong to the same field (making boot loader installation more secure and more versatile). Thus, I clone this bug, assign it to debian-installer and merge it with 230502. Also note that a "nobootloader" package now exists in d-i for handling cases where the user does not want any bootloader to be installed.
