You can ignore these messages. Did the DHCP step actually succeed or not? (did you get a DHCP lease?) Did you use the businesscard image (~70MB, without base) or the netinst image (~130-200MB with base)? If you used netinst you cannot install sid from cd (as the name suggests this is a sarge image). But you could install sid over the net. The selection is a bit missleading in this case.
