Well, nothing really happened on these bugs since I opened them....several weeks ago.
This maybe comes from the Maintainer being the Debian Progeny Packaging Team..dunno. However, discoiver is used by the debian-installer, so I guess we should have it use gettext for debconf templates...and have its templates translated easily (though they don't seem to be used during debian-installer).
