(new) debian-installer-demo_20031029_i386.deb extra devel Debian Installer demo This package allows you to run a demonstration version of the Debian installer in a chroot on a Debian system. While it might be possible to use the demo system to actually install Debian to a spare partition, there are better (and safer!) ways than using this Debian system, such as debootstrap. However, this package is useful if you'd like a look at the Debian installer, or want to test or debug some aspect of it. debian-installer-images_20031029_i386.tar.gz byhand (new) debian-installer_20031029.dsc extra devel (new) debian-installer_20031029.tar.gz extra devel Changes: debian-installer (20031029) unstable; urgency=low . * Initial release. * This includes a deb that lets a demo of the installer be run (and triggers autobuilders), but the main payload is the debian-installer-images tarball, which is designed to be unpacked by ftp-master into the ftp site. * Set architecture to i386, powerpc for now. More will be added once d-i works on them well enough to distribute images. Announcing to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
