Yup. I guess there's a tradeoff between verbosity and irritation over
hitting enter a gazillion times... Not saying anything if it's all right
is very unixy but perhaps not proper in an installer.

After doing a few installs recently I'd say yes, please give some feedback! One of the difficult things with boot floppies is not knowing what has happened (e.g. which network cards have/haven't been detected).
