This is a known issue, not specific to LVM; partman-efi should not allow to create an ESP where UEFI firmware cannot read it (LVM, crypto, most software RAID levels, partition tables other than DOS/MBR and GPT...).

So maybe just warn the user is an option. It requires a new debconf template and will involve translation effort, so it I guess is too late for trixie.I can help with German, but I guess you want more translations than just that. ;-)
