Hello, I would like to suggest a new option in the Debian GUI installer.
Currently, when you enable full disk encryption with LUKS, it automatically
overwrites all the bits in the drive in the secure delete step before enabling
LUKS and installing Debian.

Although this is more secure because it erases all remaining data on the drive
and makes it harder to guess where the new encrypted data is and where the old
data is, there are some users who want to skip this step in order to cause less
damage to the drive, or because their drive already had random or encrypted
values.
It would be nice to have a checkbox that allows you to select whether or not to
perform the secure delete after you have chosen to encrypt the disk in the GUI
installer.
