Thanks for looking into this :)

Unfortunately the plasma-discover doesn't show the results for all kind of
packages (for example kernels, nala, neofetch etc-etc) so it basically only
shows apps with appstream metadata. Unfortunately there is a few, so in my
honest opinion Discover can't list/fulfill of installing 100% of the debian
repo's software selections.

For me it was ok to install Synaptic manually by hand because I remembered
of it. But for non-technical users whom never heard of it might be useful
of having it installed out of the box.

I'd say if there's a chance of making it to get installed by default would
be a good start. Or if there's a Qt alternative specifically for KDE (like
the discontinued Muon, or perhaps Apper?), or if its possible to make
Plasma-Discover to also show the result for every single packages from
debian repos including kernels and such that would be also a good one.
