I am seeing a similar hang as the one reported earlier. It still seems to be an issue with the newest boot disks tftpimage. Everything works fine until tilo reports booting the kernel at which point I get nothing back:
machine: ss2 (two different ones) memory: 32 and 48 I do most of my work on these machines over a serial port and originally thought that it was just not working with the serial console but I was wrong. After trying it with the frame buffer I had exactly the same results. The new boot floppies root disk will not fit onto a floppy, but doing a nfs root works. I can do further testing if it will help.
