Please do set this boot argument by default on all of the bootable CDs. This will optimize the install process for official CD-ROMs and make it faster and less confusing to install. You can test out how this works by adding 'cdrom' to the kernel boot-arguments when booting from CD. -- ...Adam Di Carlo..<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>...<URL:http://www.onshored.com/> --------------------------------------- Received: (at 123948-close) by bugs.debian.org; 6 Mar 2002 05:38:05 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 05 23:38:05 2002 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16iU7p-0003NK-00; Tue, 05 Mar 2002 23:38:05 -0600 Received: from rmurray by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16iU6D-0000As-00; Wed, 06 Mar 2002 00:36:25 -0500 From: Adam Di Carlo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Lisa: $Revision: 1.4 $ Subject: Bug#123948: fixed in boot-floppies 3.0.20 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Ryan Murray <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 06 Mar 2002 00:36:25 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of boot-floppies, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: boot-floppies_3.0.20.dsc to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/boot-floppies_3.0.20.dsc boot-floppies_3.0.20.tar.gz to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/boot-floppies_3.0.20.tar.gz install-doc_3.0.20_i386.deb to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/install-doc_3.0.20_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
