Please do set this boot argument by default on all of the bootable CDs. This will optimize the install process for official CD-ROMs and make it faster and less confusing to install. You can test out how this works by adding 'cdrom' to the kernel boot-arguments when booting from CD. -- ...Adam Di Carlo..<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>...<URL:http://www.onshored.com/> --------------------------------------- Received: (at 123948-close) by bugs.debian.org; 7 Feb 2002 18:38:27 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Feb 07 12:38:27 2002 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16YtRD-0003fd-00; Thu, 07 Feb 2002 12:38:27 -0600 Received: from troup by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16YtQJ-0003Nx-00; Thu, 07 Feb 2002 13:37:31 -0500 From: Adam Di Carlo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.68 $ Subject: Bug#123948: fixed in boot-floppies 3.0.19 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: James Troup <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 07 Feb 2002 13:37:31 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of boot-floppies, which has been installed in the Debian FTP archive: bf-archive-install_3.0.19_i386.sh byhand bf-common_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand bf-doc_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand bf-images-1.20_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand bf-images-1.44_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand bf-images-2.88_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand bf-misc_3.0.19_i386.tar.gz byhand boot-floppies_3.0.19.dsc to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/boot-floppies_3.0.19.dsc boot-floppies_3.0.19.tar.gz to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/boot-floppies_3.0.19.tar.gz boot-floppies_3.0.19_all.deb to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/boot-floppies_3.0.19_all.deb install-doc_3.0.19_i386.deb to pool/main/b/boot-floppies/install-doc_3.0.19_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
