Ok. So Ubuntu already fixed this and I applied the change to our repository. @Cyril: This would certainly be errata-worthy, I think. I also wonder if it's critical. If a nameserver is statically configured, crap goes into /etc/network/interfaces. That crap will, however, only be used if resolvconf gets installed into the target system. And I don't know when that happens. DHCP is not affected. Kind regards Philipp Kern
