sorry for the slow response. it crashed. no ctrl+alt+f1. no ctrl+alt+del. 
(machine has no numlock to test). no network (ssh or ping)

just tried again, installed debian stable. again, no windows7 on the grub menu, 
but that is solved after a simple update-grub.

wifi is not working with debian stable.

i installed firmware-realtek, and a new kernel from backports.
with kernel 3+ same thing happens. crash.
with kernel 2.6.38 i have both video and wifi.
