[...] From what i've googled the console outside X should be working so you can change to a console (e.g. ctrl+1). I got a tip that the graphic card needs non-free firmware to work properly. The non-free firmware cannot be distributed in official debian images but it's available on the package firmware-linux-nonfree [1]. The procedure to install non-free firmware in the installer it's described on the installation guide [2]. But if you have access to console and network and if you are willing to install non-free software you just have to enable the non-free section in /etc/apt/sources.list and install the firmware-linux-nonfree package. I hope this helps your Debian experience :) 1 - http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/all/firmware-linux-nonfree/download 2 - http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.powerpc/ch06s04.html -- Melhores cumprimentos/Best regards, Miguel Figueiredo http://www.DebianPT.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
