I do not agree with this way of doing it because now it has implicitly become a request for the maintainer of vlock to provide such a udeb, who is unlikely to have the skills to provide it. IMO a BR against vlock should only have been created *after* someone who has sufficient knowledge of D-I has created a proper patch for vlock and *after* such a patch has been tested and reviewed by the D-I team. vlock is also maybe only one possible way of implementing the feature. There could be others. I would prefer that the BR against vlock be closed for now. The maintainer of vlock should IMO not have this on his wishlist. The feature request is for D-I, not for vlock.
