Files in gdk/directfb in the 2.14.7-2 package actually differ from the merge you have done on upstream GTK+ 2.14 branch. After a new build with this directory updated, I can start the graphical installer. :) But from the quick glance I had those issues remain: * The banner is not displayed, instead I see the "broken image" icon. I might have missed something while building the package though. * Critical: scrolling does not work in GtkTreeView. This is a real problem as many questions of the debian-installer are asked through GtkTreeView. * Graphical artifacts while scrolling a VteTerminal widget. Sven, thanks a lot for your work, though! :) Josselin, I think I would have been okay to have minor issues for now but the scrolling problem really makes the graphical installer unusable… Cheers, -- Jérémy Bobbio .''`. lu...@debian.org : :Ⓐ : # apt-get install anarchism `. `'` `-
