Actually, I've already installed Debian on a RAID with a most recent

The DVD does not yet have the latest improvements, so the grub error can
be explained from that. You'll need to use one of the daily built images
to get the latest versions.
I forgot to mention that in my previous mail.

Yes, this dvd have been updated during the installation with a mirror
site, and at least two new "linux-headers" (a main update of the linux
system) have been done by the automatic update.
It's because of these main updates that the menu.lst file have been
upgraded too, and so I had to edit them again to replace
"*(nvidia*****)*" (the name of the dmraid device created during the
installation) by *(hd0,1) *for I can reboot the server correctly.
Actually my Debian server is on a "online test", so I won't go for a
install' again (and I don't /need /to!), but I just tried to say that if
I have some more trouble with the GRUB after a new linux-headers update,
I'll probably answer to this note instead of creating a new.
If I can help with my experience wih dmraid, I'd be glad to do so, even
if I'm not an expert in informatics.
Thanks a lot for your attention (and patience with me horrible english)
