Sure.  But kernel issues just get redirected to the kernel.  I don't
like confusing users by putting in too much "real-world" complexity.

Ok, well, boot-floppies is the right package to report bugs in the
install manual.  

What would you have me add to the install manual?  A note that you
probably ought to check if your bios needs an upgrade in the
troubleshooting section ?
