Hello All, Thought I'd ask here, since Ubuntu-Mate is a fork of Debian. I installed Ubuntu-Mate 24.04 in a VM, and it was talking with espeak-ng. Then I installed Voxin-3.4 and the IBM voice spoke after running the voxin-installer, and I rebooted, and now there is no sound from Orca. There is Ubuntu sounds, like when I backspace in a field. Does anyone have any suggestions to get Voxin talking? Also, I ran spd-conf for user and set it to voxin and alsa, and although voxin did not speak, the alsa test worked. Thanks for any ideas.
