I tried to find "Asus 701" but I guess that must be real old because all links point to a game computer GR701. For the last 15, I suspect that most people that installed the 32 bits Debian on their machine did so because the Debian naming confused them. Are you sure your CPU isn't 64 bits? Because Debian is likely to support 32 bit userland for some time to come, but you'll need to run it with a 64 bit kernel and userland (multiarch) (or in a chroot).
