Rather, speechd-el should be taught to use the new place. Anybody out here to help working on the lisp speechd.el script, to make it try not only $SPEECHD_SOCK, $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/speech-dispatcher/speechd.sock, and ~/.speech-dispatcher/speechd.sock, but also /run/user/<user_id>/speech-dispatcher/speechd.sock?
