The Debian archive has these tools that might help. https://packages.debian.org/sid/duma https://packages.debian.org/sid/electric-fence https://packages.debian.org/sid/libdmalloc5 But if Andreas says there's an issue with the glibc build, I would pursue that before I went looking for heap corruption. --
