Thorsten,
Christian T. Steigies dixit:
I suggest to put kate into not-for-us, and all other (huge) packages
that
fail due to timeout.
kate and similar don’t fail on ara5 due to timeout.
maybe you can pick them on aranym
No, Not-For-Us prevents wanna-build from acting on them.
Please use only an exclusion list for things your buildd
cannot build on your buildd, if others can do that. I’m
not going to build them all manually every time.
question, how to I exclude packages on one buildd nowadays?
There’s something in one of ~buildd/.{sbuild,buildd}rc IIRC.
/etc/buildd.conf.global on hobbes has:
# list of packages which shouldn't be picked up by buildd
@no_auto_build = ();
# list of packages which should only be taken if there absolutely
# nothing else to do (probably packages included in @no_auto_build
# because they take too long)
@weak_no_auto_build = ();
That config is positively ancient (8 years) so this might have been
factored out into another machine-specific or processor-specific
include file in the meantime. I recall plans to that effect being
discussed.
Cheers,
Michael
