Hi Christian! My A1200 works 24x7 with NE2000 cheap card on 2.4.30 as a torrent server. So, will your kernel pick-up driver for NE2000 PCMCIA ? I asked people from list to compile 2.4.30 with driver _embedded_ into kernel (not as a module), because 2.4.x kernels didn't work with ne2000 as a module.
