2.6 does not work here (kernel panic) but in the meantime I found a way to get 2.4 on my ct60 working. 1.) Start in VGA mode (don't know if this is also necessary with 2.4 but with 2.6 RGB modes don't work) 2.) With ct60 use bootstra.prg instead of the provided ct60 way to boot Linux kernels So 2.4 started perfectly until it reached the point where it tried to find an ethernet card. None of my cards was recognized (neither EtherNEC nor EtherNAT). So at this point I am stuck. Christian's kernels with EtherNEC modules compiled in are in .deb format so without a working debian installation they are of little use for me. :-( Michael was so kind to send me a 2.4 kernel but this one unfortunately stopped working after displaying TUX in the upper left corner of the screen (blinking cursor below). Anyway, it is getting better and I like to thank everyone who helped. Regards, Frank -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
